Shenghua is the director of the RAUM lab. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Peking University in 1999 and received his PhD in cognitive psychology from the University of Florida in 2004. His current research is supported by multiple grants from within and outside the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Before joining the CAS, he used to teach and conduct research at the Singapore Management University in Singapore and the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin, Germany.
Dr. Junhui Wu is an associate professor and a member of the RAUM lab. She obtained her master’s degree in psychology from Beijing Normal University in 2012, and a doctoral degree in social psychology (cum laude) from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2016. She had been working as a postdoctoral researcher in Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the Faculty of Psychology at Beijing Normal University before joining the RAUM lab in the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in October, 2020. Her main research areas include: (a) The development and mechanisms of prosocial behavior, (b) social judgment and decision making, (c) early-life stress and social adjustment, and (d) interpersonal and intergroup trust and cooperation.

Dr. Ying Li is interested in how the language we produced reveals or shapes our mind. His research uses open-ended surveys, sizable linguistic corpora, network analysis, and language models, with applications to the following topics: (a) risk perception, (b) emotion and wellbeing, and (c) corpus linguistics.

Yuhui obtained his master’s degree in Engineering from Beihang University in 2016. From 2016 to 2018, he worked in Avic China Aero-polytechnology Estabilshment as a standardization engineer. His current research areas include: (a) social loafing behavior, (b) Delphi group decision making.
Yugang has a master’s degree in fundamental psychology and worked as a C++ programmer for three years. His current research interests include: (a) people’s trust in artificial intelligence and the factors that influence it, (b) how to improve the wisdom of crowds.
Baizhou graduated from Inner Mongolia Normal University with a master’s degree in fundamental psychology. His current research interests are social network and group decision making.
Yuqi obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Beijing Normal University in 2018. Her current research areas include: (a) impulsivity and impulsive behavior, (b) randomness in evolutionary game theory.
She obtained her master’s degree in psychology from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2019, Her main research areas include: (a)Nudge, (b) Information Manipulation.
Yanyan is a master student of RAUM lab. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology from Beijing Forestry University in 2020. Her current research direction is the influence of reputation mechanism on cooperation.
Shuaili graduated from Zhengzhou University in 2021, majoring in Applied Psychology. Her current research direction is pro- environmental attitudes and behaviors.
Xiaohong received her master’s degree from Institute of Psychology of Chinese Academy of Sciences and her tutor was Shu Li. She served as a Senior Research Assistant in the RAUM Lab between 2018 and 2019. Her research interests include spatial risk decision making and decision models, and she is currently pursuing her PhD degree at University of Kansas
Dave Mallpress was a postdoctoral researcher in the RAUM lab between 2019 and 2022. With a background in behavioural ecology and decision making, his research is on risk preferences, spatial decision making and various problems in motivation.
Yujia graduated from the School of Political Science and Public Administration of Wuhan University in 2019, and obtained a double degree in psychology from Central China Normal University in the same year. She studied for her master’s degree in the lab from 2019 to 2022.
